Why Purchase a Residential Solar Battery?
Solar panels are a great way to generate electricity while reducing your carbon footprint. However, what happens during a power outage? Solar panels can power your home during a power outage, but only when supplemented with a battery storage system. Here are a few reasons why you might consider purchasing a solar battery:
Solar battery storage systems provide backup power during an outage or emergency. When the power grid goes down, solar panels without a battery will stop producing electricity in order to protect people working on the grid. But with a battery storage system, you can keep your lights on, your refrigerator running, and your family safe.
As of 2023, the ITC has been extended at a rate of 30% for the next 10 years! The ITC will decrease to 26% for systems installed in 2033, and 22% for systems installed in 2034. There is no cap on the value of the credit. The larger your investment, the larger the credit.
